How is Broadoak Primary School accessible to children with SEND?
- The school has a disabled parking space at the front of the main office
- The front desk has a wheel-chair height section.
- There is an accessible toilet.
- We have a lift to enable access to the upper levels of the Key Stage two building.
- The school has easy access, with double doors and ramps to access the playground. There is ramp access to main school buildings.
- We ensure that wherever possible the equipment used is accessible to all children, regardless of their needs.
- After-school provision is accessible to all children; including those with SEN. Extra-curricular activities are accessible for children with SEN.
- School will make reasonable adjustments to the physical building, the curriculum and information to accommodate the needs of individual children as appropriate.
